Sophie started working professionally at the age of 9 in productions of ‘Falstaff’, ‘Faust’ and ‘The Magic Flute’ (English National Opera), before going on to train at the London School of Musical Theatre.
Since Graduating, her theatre credits have included ‘Crazy For You’ (London Palladium), Jasmine in ‘Camp Horror’ (Cockpit Theatre) written and directed by The Heather Brothers, Sister Hermione/Venus in ‘Postcards from God – The Sister Wendy Musical’ (Hackney Empire), Tracey in ‘Elegies For Angels, Punks & Raging Queens’ (Theatro Technis), numerous guises and dance captain in ‘The Magic of Eurovision!’ (UK Tour), Pam in the World Premiere stage adaptation of the classic musical film ‘The Young Ones’ (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Principal Vocalist/Dancer in the UK National Tour of the children’s show ‘The Scutterbugs’, Nurse Ivy in ‘Brenda Bly: Teen Detective’ (Cochrane Theatre) and a Dancer/Presenter for Channel 5 in the ‘Milkshake! Live Show’
Sophie’s film credits include a Showgirl in Julian Jarrold’s recently released ‘Brideshead Revisited’ and principal chorus in Kenneth Branagh’s ‘The Magic Flute’. Sophie has also worked on several major TV commercials namely Sony Playstation, Magic FM, BT, Visa and T-Mobile.
Sophie can be seen this Christmas in the title role of 'Sleeping Beauty' at the Tivoli Theatre.
